So I had a discussion with some guys a while back about if UFC will give in to Khabib's demands about lifting the ban from his team mates who participated in Conor post fight brawl. Some were saying that Khabib will bow down and kiss the boot, but it looks like he's getting what he wanted.

@Verace - Looks like you will be loosing our bet. Not official yet, but it looks like all the guys from the brawl will all be in Abu Dhabi with Khabib.

UFC has the leverage but if Khabib's willing to put it on all the line for his friends the ends don't justify the means for the UFC saying no. Champs having little to no leverage don't mean a champ threatening to not fight over something relatively small isn't going to get their way. Also Khabib wasn't going to back down and the dude's stated his desire to retire in the near future. If Khabib were to leave the sport he's an undefeated UFC champ.

Also worth noting since Khabib is likely a Jones level PPV star now, the ESPN thing probably has hurt Khabib more than any other individual in the UFC. Conor made his money before the rule change. Khabib has never had the chance to put up a blockbuster PPV besides the Conor fight, his biggest buyrate was in the 300k-400k range. So Khabib lost that money just as he got popular. So the UFC kind of owes him a favor in that regard and they really did just screw him. All the other non Jones champs are losing PPV points off of low numbers but Khabib is losing PPV points off of cards that would have put up great numbers.

All Khabib has to do is just make 1 call to Putin who can make 1 call to Trump who can make 1 call to the Dana to do what Khabib says.
