Seriously, there are many, many stunningly beautiful Black women. Why did they have to pick one that fell out of the Ugly Tree and hit every branch on the way to the ground?

They could have just casted Zendaya. Their chemistry would be authentic and no one would care that she's half black.

Of course, I'm not interested in any iteration of Romeo & Juliet, but I don't understand these studios being so eager to burn money just so they claim everyone on Twitter is "racist"
