this is weird. Especially when you start looking at it under the framework of sin, damnation, salvation, and the omnipotent theistic view he and his son also share.
without the religious filter it’s still a grown man asking his child to help curb his desires because he’s incapable of doing so himself without his sons direct intervention. And what if he does watch some big titty goth porn? His son now knows. Now his son has to come and talk to him about it? It’s just unhealthy.

You're just assuming they're both porn addicts, when something like this would actually curb someone's desire to browse porn anonymously. This is a simple mechanism to keep them in check. If you're family members knew exactly what you were searching for, I somehow doubt you would enter a porn site and go hog wild. Just a hunch...
