Motorhomes And Campervans

You really want a trailer camper or fifth wheel so you can have all the amenities of a motorhome but can drop it off and just drive your vehicle anywhere else you need to go.

A smaller camper and a pickup is far more useful. Then you have a vehicle you can drive when you’re not camping.

Bums who live in them are ruining it for everyone.

Many cities have really cracked down on where you can park them now. And campgrounds have put in stricter rules too try and keep bums out.

I just listed mine for sale at $10,000:

The van life was appealing to me at one point. I backpack and hike a lot. Living out of a tent for weeks isn't foreign to me. However.....Trailheads now are full of these fucking camper van monstrosities. It annoying as all hell. Dumbasses cant drive them for shit either. I can immediately tell on social media who actually lives in their van, and who does it for clout. The van life was appealing at a certain point because you could get a used old van for cheap. Now that the craze is in full swing, it's hard to find a decent van worth converting for sub 20k, and the ones made by specialty shops can be upwards of 250k+.

I don't know why when I read the thread title I though of this guy. But now that I think about it, it's a good nickname for him.

It’s a crazy lifestyle,
I have a friend who recently decided to take on this life style adventure of living and it sounds ridiculous.

His main point is that he doesn’t want I waste $$$ on a house and bills and pushes the idea of being able to have a change in scenery.

In reality, his new scenery is just hopping around parking lots every few days.

I have learned that Walmart allows some to stay in their lot as much as a week or two, depending on if the parking lot is busy with holidays. Home Depot and Lowe’s only let a few days. And the local Casinos allow about a week long stay.

I also learned that to park your RV in a RV Park, that it is basically as much as rent for a basic apartment per month. Something like $800-$900 a month to park.

It’s a crazy lifestyle, modern bohemian gypsies..

The van dwellers in my area are boarderline junkie fuck wits that are taking the piss and parking at beaches and harrassing everyone around them.

local council and cops are cracking down on them now though thank fuck.
