Need some awesome sci-fi movies to watch.

His vision would have been an acid nightmare full of experimental editing. But crazy enough to watch out of curiosity. Who did he want David Bowie to portray, I forget?

I'm not a fan of his films, they're a little too unstructured for my tastes.

I can't remember who he had picked out for still the cast. I assume you've seen the Jodor / Dune documentary?

Haha yeah they are wacky. They're surrealist films. Watch them for their visuals and general outlandishness. Smoking a few bowls beforehand helps too.

The Martian is a great sci-fi drama, Damon blew me away with his performance.

Black Hole is a cheesy classic.

The Final Countdown, cult classic.

Battleship is a hilariously awful popcorn flick with great one liners and an great final battle.

Enemy Mine is an awesome flick more people need to see.

A Boy and his Dog is another great one most people have never seen.

And for an absolutely devastating mind fuck, Predestination. That movie makes my head hurt after several viewings.

My personal favorite Scifi film of the year goes to Alita: Battle Angel.

In my opinion it's the only Manga to live action movie that can hold up to multiple viewings. I see lot's of people dismissing it because of the main characters big eyes but they becomes less off-putting as you go. It's a definite must watch!
