Basically what he says is that Ngannou went charging towards Biggie. Had he dodged, francis would have faceplanted against the cage. He did not like the boxing (ngannou was touched and it could have been dangerous) and found him tense/stressed. It reminded him of the stipe fight, and he feels that when he steps up in competition he can't have that kind of kill or be killed mindset. He has to have a more cool, collected approach.

He eventually recognizes that the result is there : Francis got his 4th consecutive knockout and "result validates the method". So basically there's not much to be said, but there's legit concern about his mindset

are they still together? (asking for a friend)

I don't think people realize how shitty that wild swinging looked. Stipe would slip all that and counter all night long.

He wouldn't try that against Stipe because he's aware of the takedown threat

He avoided a technical kickboxing match with the more experienced striker and blitzed him to negate that advantage

Kind of smart actually

But risky

doesnt seem like he's aware of shit tbh, he's too confident in his knockout power, fight iq = 0 for ngannou as far as i can see

He didn't blitz any of his 3 previous opponents, where he still KO'd them all in Rd 1.

He obviously adjusts his style to his opponent

He knocked out a dangerous heavyweight in 20 seconds. I call that excellent strategy.

"Ngannou looks so bad now that he doesn't train with me anymore, his new trainer sucks and Ngannou is a piece of shit". Tbf he's not wrong but he clearly has an agenda. This dude talked a bunch of shit on Ngannou when Ngannou left him.

And Shertards shit on you when you dare saying that Francis' style is rough around the edges and will play tricks on him someday against better guys (like Stipe and DC, maybe even Jones if they ever fight)

I understand why he’s salty; he basically took in Francis when he was homeless and gave him a place to train, eat, etc. I thought he was still his head coach tbh, i always thought Dewey was just his striking coach. At the end of the day Francis has to do what’s best for him.

Everyone shits on ngannou for throwing those shitty punches but I blame Fat boi for getting hit with them. He was supposed to be some elite kickboxing specialist or some shit and was taken out in 20 seconds with some of the shittiest striking I've seen in a long time. Embarrassing for him.

He didnt do that against Stipe the first time round. I think maybe Blitzing Stipe may be the way lol.

He wouldn't do that against Stipe.

It's similar to Khabib-Barboza, Khabib walking down Barboza almost like recklessly Many said that it was poor technique by Khabib and that a puncher like Poirier or Conor would exploit that.

Then of course, Khabib fought differently against those two compared to the Barboza-fight.

Blitzing was the best case scenario. Why let a superior striker find his range and get comfortable? Specially when you have suspect cardio. Hesitant Ngannou is trash. Did yall forget the Black Beast performance?
