Ngannou's Power vs Shane Carwin's Power

arguably the two hardest-hitting HW's in MMA history...

who would you say hits harder though? bork1}

Nganou rearranges people’s faces
Shane Carwin has the touch of death.

After a certain threshold I don’t think it even matters who hits slightly harder.

Also for Carwin I think a lot of his success comes from precision/accuracy which isn’t talked about as much as his power.

Just to remind you guys, I’m posting Carwins record in the UFC. Two KOs, two TKOs.

Three of those guys were up seconds after the fight. Brock weathered the storm as well. I don’t understand what you guys are talking about.

Lol Carson had TKO stoppages that didn’t knock people out, nearly half of the time he was in the octagon. Literally. He full on hit a few guys who didn’t go out

again, i don't know where this comes from. he had 2 "precise" shots in his ufc career.........

he never "touch of death'd" anyone. gonzaga was the closest.

he finished mir on like 20 unanswered shots.

Carwin is the most overrated guy ever
looool homey had 6 ufc fights

Both overrated by different generations of UFC hype machines. Two generations of PR posters here spawned this nonsense on Sherdog. Of course none from the Carwin generation exist any longer. The current generation is alive and well... just ask @kflo to dutifully report about how Ngannou is a supernatural ford escort. And today's HW is the best it has ever been. And Dana White is always right in pay disputes. And every non-UFC fighter ever was overrated. And the next card is the best ever.

UFC! UFC! UFC!

You’re clearly still a nut.

I keep seeing "Carwin had one tap power", when?
Who did he finish with a glancing blow?
Who did he finish that was known for being resilient?

Both have shown ridiculous power, but I can't think of anything that separates one from the other. Even in the Mir vs Carwin clip, Mir got right up after Carwin got off his back. JDS even pointed it out to Mir calling him a quitter.

As someone else said, Manhoef is the hardest puncher. 5'8" guy finished Mark Hunt and his granite blockhead in 2008. Ridiculous.

Ngannou has wins over

Dos Santos
Stipe
Overeem
Cain
Curtis Blaydes
Rozenstruik
Arlovski

Hes beaten a lot of good hws for an overrated fighter

Caring had more sheer power, but that's because he had more chemicals in him than a nuclear reactor. Ngannou comes close, but is also better by literally every other measure.

I think both of these men are very equal in power. Only Ngannou uses quite a lot of swings and Carwin had several fight where he used short range strikes.
