Canada vs host team Sweden just started. Definitely the toughest test for Canada in the group stage. They aren’t favoured to win their third straight World Junior Gold. Many of Canada’s best U-20s are already playing in the NHL. They aren’t playing in this tournament. That’s how good they are. 18, and 19 year olds playing in the NHL. That’s crazy.
Sweden is favoured this year. It’s a good bet Sweden, USA, or Canada wins gold this year.
