I thought it might be sensible to have separate threads for the strawweight cast announcement and for the light heavyweight cast announcement.

Happy to see they were smart enough to put Rountree in there.

Anybody know any of these guys any favorites here? I think Phil Hawes is the best fighter here. I bet he wins

Surprised they're giving Norman another shot. Rountree is/was a sparring partner of Anderson right?

Happy to see they were smart enough to put Rountree in there.
And they put his teammate Hendricks on there... could get interesting.

Hendricks is a monster..... big'ole legs for the kicking.

They are giving the french guy that quit mid-fight like 10 seasons ago another chance? Bizarre.

One of Rountree, DeReese, Hawes & Stansbury for me.

Sanchez looked awesome in his RFA title fight with Poppie. That could have easily been a UFC prelim level fight.

Roundtree probably only "true" LHW, should have good advantage over most.

Kenneth bergh will suprise alot of people. Dude is a monster. Extremly atlethic and violent. My dark horse.

Roundtree probably only "true" LHW, should have good advantage over most.

He's only 5'10" and had the last 3 of his fights at MW. Stansbury and DeReese true LHW's.

My top 5 rankings:
1) Khalil Rountree
2) Phil Hawes
3) Josh Stansbury
4) Mo DeReese
5) Andrew Sanchez

Can't wait for this series.

Kenneth Bergh is a fucking BEAST. I expect great things from him.

This is a good cast. Some top middlewight prospects mixed in there too. Josh Stansbury is my pick to take it, but the UFC should consider keeping a lot of these guys.
