Law [Partisan Gerrymandering News] Florida appeals court reverses ruling on DeSantis’s congressional maps

2020. That courtroom is going to be stacked. You guys are going back 100 years or more hopefully.

California does this for the DNC don't they?

I know there are conservatives in California, although its totally hopeless for them.

No way you'll ever vote the Democrats outa there.

Gerrymandering should be abolished. It's completely insane that it's allowed at all.

Do you need to be told why they won't do this, because you are so brainwashed by the media that you believe only the Republicans do this?

The state legislators that win this year will redraw the lines that stay for the next decade (aside from if a court overrules it). That’s one of the stories I’m most interested in seeing next year because each party is now aware of how important those state races are compared to 2010 where Dems kinda were caught off guard.

It might be more interesting if the party that loses redraws the lines for the next election. That way, if there is gerrymandering, it is unlikely to remain permanent or even semi-permament.

Yea, it’s somewhat surprising they didn’t see danger in that set up.
