according to various sparring partners and emmanuel steward he was the hardest puncher they ever worked with, including Lennox Lewis and George Foreman. So nope, he is one of the GOATsWow i wonder what sport u like more lol adding klitschko made ur comment invalid bro
Wilders right is more powerful than anything Tyson had to offer.I'm assuming you mean Mike Tyson and not Tyson Fury. Undoubtedly in my mind, its Mike. Ngannou isn't a pro boxer. He has God given power but his last fight demonstrated that he's rather sloppy in his technique. MMA fighters has many advantages over a boxer, but the one thing boxers have is punches. They're punching specialists. Tyson was a freakishly strong, freakishly explosive, freakishly fast, and he was an astute student of the sweet science. As far as between he and Deontay, I'm still going with Mike. Deontay has power because he lands wild haymakers. Somehow he's good at picking the spots where he can land them. Tyson's shots were always technical, usually short, and if they landed solid, every shot hurt his opponent.
loltyson wasn’t a one punch ko artist. he dropped guys but very rarely knocked them dead. his finishing ability was his real gift.
overrated power.
if wilder was wearing 4 oz gloves he would kill people..Francis just knocking out fat boysThe difference is not that Wilder has less power but that Wilder is facing professional boxers.
Fury knockdown was a right followed by a left hook on the way down. The right is his KO shot. Please point me to a fight where he KO's someone with a left hook and I'll eat my words.Yes he absolutely has, what are you talking about...
In his first fight with Fury he KO'd him stiff with a left hook. Boxing is not MMA, in MMA he would have followed up with GnP for a finish and it would have went on the books as a KO. he's had numerous knockdowns with his left hand.
And what exactly makes you think he couldn't KO guys with an uppercut?

in terms of Power.
P4P most likely not. But for some reason everyone is just bringing up HW, so i also only brought up HWs.Fair play point taken mate i forgot klistchkos has some great knockouts throughout the years when he let his hands go he was an animal Still not sure if he make top 5 pound for pound tho
lol, wow just wowIt would be easy for Francis to overwhelm most boxers in an MMA or bare knuckle setting because he'd just overpower them and murk them in short range or in a clinch situation. Wilder wouldn't be able to do the same
He is 100% right. Tyson was powerful but not close to as powerful as MMA fans and casuals think. He would swarm people and finish with punches in bunches, but he was not close to the most power puncher in Boxing
Don't compare athletes from the stone ages to modern freaks of nature.
