I was raised to hate gay people, and the only thing that changed my perspective was the few gay people that I met that were just really cool people and I liked being friends with them.

Lol if they are good people it's certainly not because they are gay, bi or identifying with a toaster. It's because they were raised well. Your sexual preference shouldn't dictate how you are as a person. What does however is the virtue of being humble. And if you need constant patting on the back you're seriously lacking it
