I think MMA fighters and female companions not mixing well is a more accurate inference. Not sure where you're from, but the United States really is not the worst place for women. Marriage is a legal contract with the intention of maintaining a healthy relationship for finances, home repayments, raising children, etc.

I don't see anything wrong with either fining or jailing people for breaking that contract.
