Jailton's wrestling/grappling isn't entertaining, but it's extremely effective (he hasn't even lost a round in any of his fights in the UFC). Jailton is entering his prime while Ngannou turns 38 years old and hasn't been spending a lot of time training his ground game or his takedown defense since he has been focused on boxing for the past couple of years.

Leon and Khamzat had a common opponent last year. Leon fared much better against the elite wrestler than Khamzat did. Khamzat has proven to be a mental midget.

Khabib is 35 years old. Islam is younger and has tested positive for banned substances like most of Team Eagle.

In their primes? What are you talking about?GSP is much older than Khabib. Their primes didn't overlap. When the UFC was trying to make that fight in 2021, GSP was already 40 years old. He is 42 now, so he wouldn't be one the 15 best current welterweights if he started competing again.

Khabib was always a welterweight who wanted to outweigh lightweights throughout his career. Almost all of pre-UFC fights were at welterweight. It was always an adventure for Khabib to weigh-in. He missed weight, pulled out of fights because he couldn't make weight, no-showed weigh-ins because he was going to miss weight yet again, and eventually got to the point where he could only fight in Abu Dhabi because he needed scale tricks to "make" weight.

These days, Khabib has ballooned up to 200+ lbs while GSP has turned into a lightweight in his 40s.
