I can't recall if Hermanson clipped him first? Branch knew that choke was on and it was early so they were dry so slipping out wasn't happening. It looked like he was staying relaxed hoping his squeeze wouldn't last and then he realized it was tap or nap.

Flawless performance from Hermanson and Branch is no chump as some Sherdoggers are likely to proclaim. Branch gave Luke a tough fight, beat Thiago Santos as well by KO. This is a legit win for Jack and he deserves a step up in competition. From the UFC's top 15 rankings anyone from #8 Derek Brunson down works for me.

@Frode Falch 10/10 His last two fights he has looked outstanding. His fight with Leites was more back and forth but he rallied and got the win. He ran into a buzzsaw against Santos before that however Santos is a contender at LHW now.

He is on been on a tear since that fight though and hasn't wasted anytime getting fighters to the mat and submitting them in his last two.
I tought DJ's sub against Wakamatsu was more impressive but MM was losing the fight standing and the stakes were higher but both were great.
