Rating film & TV show writers from the last ten years?

I think writers from the last ten years have been in a difficult position to try and be original in their work. But based on what you've seen from film and TV shows, how Would rate their work on a scale of 1 to 10?

There really haven’t been that many good shows or movies to come out. There are one or two shows I’ve watched, created in the last 10 years, that have been very good. But they don’t stack up to shows that were very good 20 to 30 years ago.

Same with movies.

Tv Shows are better than they used to be, Movies are worse than before


At least this is how I feel. Writing has gotten better in the long format, whereas in the short format I think they just have an AI turning scripts out lol

I find them terrible, for the most part.
I give them a 3.
