"Reply" delete/cancel button is needed

is there a way to delete a reply without manually deleting it?

For instance, especially with touchscreens, sometimes I hit the reply button by accident and the box fills with quote but i dont want it. And then i might want to reply to someone else but that previous quote is still there and i have to delete it manually. Other times i might reply to someone and then decide "eh fuck it" but its still there in the box if i want to reply later on in that thread

A button "cancel reply" would do this easily.
