Where'd all the alt-righters go?
Big multinational corporations, and big tech specifically, is no one's friend. They care about their own power and are using the turmoil to squash competitors and display their might. The left should absolutely be as concerned about their actions as the right, because the beast will 100% come for them as well. I'm sure Bezos remembers how AOC blocked his expansion efforts in NYC...well, they're pretty darn close to the top
Apple’s top lobbyist was a chief adviser to the Biden transition team. A former Facebook executive will serve as staff director in the Biden White House, and a former Twitter executive will serve as chief spokesperson for the National Security Council under Biden.

How are you oblivious to the fact this "proxy" logic is a two-edged sword? It has no teeth whatsoever. It devastates the liberals who wield it as a precondition to demonstrate any meaningful hypocrisy. You cannot accept your opponent's argument as valid in order to use its validity to demonstrate hypocrisy. It's just a proxy for the opinions/things they like and they don't actually care about the underlining rules and mechanisms. It's easy to care about free speech and discrimination laws when it aligns with your opinions independent of how/where it is delivered. The real test is when it isn't convenient to support.
LOL, Simple Jack. Doesn't even comprehend his own source. No, it wasn't a password-attempt lockout. Facebook admitted they locked his account at an Admin-level. They called it a "mistake".https://reason.com/2021/01/11/ron-paul-says-hes-been-locked-out-of-facebook/
LOL! So the page was always up, Paul was not banned, and it was just one administrator being mistakenly locked out for a short time. CTers never seem to tire of making themselves look ridiculous.

In other words, to cite this argument makes a hypocrite of the person lampooning hypocrisy. He is mocking himself.

UPDATE: In an email on Monday night, a Facebook spokesperson told Reason that it had mistakenly locked former Rep. Ron Paul's page.
LMFAO, it was just a "mistake". Yes, it certainly was. Good damage control. You made the right choice.
Concession accepted, Facebook.
They said he violated their community standards. Is that not enough for you? Do you feel he deserves more of an explanation than this? If so why?

Its absolutely absurd that you think we are not entitled to ask for the details... why the secrecy?

Now would be a good time to slink out of the thread. The page was always up, though. And it was just one administrator who was locked out. FB says it was a mistake, but if you're of a certain mindset, I guess finding proof that you're wrong just shows that the conspiracy is deeper than you realized.
Ah so being libertarian means you can't complain about it. Did he ask for legislation? Or does being libertarian also mean you lose your first amendment rights? This argument people like you use is just the dumbest possible takeIronic. Libertarian complains about private business actions.

A "glitch".I think the thread is dead once the info came out that it was just a paranoid old man misunderstanding a glitch. What else is there to do but laugh about it (and about CTers falling for another one)?
With the current debt, we need to cut back on spending.Ron Paul was the bernie sanders of the right. He wanted to stop giving welfare to corporations and Bernie wants to give welfare to everyone. Like 99% of voters would be down with this but that is why they have always been kept as mascots by their parties.
A "glitch".
Interesting conspiracy theory. How's that tinfoil fit?
