Ryan Garcia being setup...(I believe him)

They wanna punish Ryan for social media trolling. and they were happy to take $1.5M from him but now that it backfires lol they wanna take that win from him by this claim he cheated through the PEDs.

It will be wilder if the money won by those who bet for Ryan will need to be returned.

I think the failed test was for Nandrolone and Ostarine not cringey posts.

yeah he got caught juicing but I don't recall any major fighter getting this kind of backlash for using PEDs.

who here can truly say they have never used PEDs to win a world title boxing match organised by the villain from X Files and a a coked up tranny. Is it truly worth sullying the good name of boxing over something so miniscule?

Apparently Ryan is engaged to Savannah Bond. The porn star. Why am I not surprised?

lol at people who believe its more likely that there was some grand conspiracy involving promoters, testing agencies and the opposing fighter out to get Garcia and not just a spoiled insecure kid who fucked up his cycle.

Honestly hope this douche gets suspended for a couple of yers and we never see him again.
Ostarine is usually taken orally. I don't like Garcia at all. I don't really like Haney either. But it's not beyond the realm of believability that someone could simply have given Ryan a few drops of ostarine liquid in food. drink anything. It would be incredibly easy to do especially with a sarm like Ostarine. It's a lot harder to accidentally take steroids, this ain't a steroid.

Yup. All stuff in oral form might be sneaked in ....
Also purchased as supplements or food without info on labels. Even without intent.
Stuff with injections ofc is different world.

i believe there's talk of him failing for more than just ostarine, though.

edit: yeah, also positive for nandrolone metabolites.

I hadn't looked into it but I had seen ostarine thrown around a lot. nandrolone is injection only isn't it? But also not really commonly used by athletes anymore because it's super easy to detect.

the nandrolone findings require extra testing so the results aren't final, the ostarine stuff is.

but, considering everything else leading up to the fight, not to mention garcia's absolutely braindead response to the failed tests, i'm not inclined to give him the benefit of doubt.

Yes, nandrolone is super easy to detect.....

I don't know about Ryan...
However AFAIK juicing might be till heaven.
It was long ago but we had one local level am KBer juiced till heaven, I wondered how his liver was capable to bear this....
Painkillers ( not just 1 med ), stimulants and juice ( not just 1 med )... and this for local level ( not national level ) amateur tournament where 0 money might be earned....nor also glory to be champ ....

I don't think Conte's all that suspect these days. He reportedly went legit 20 years ago. The guy hasn't been in any related type of trouble since and we know that he's capable of slipping up. So, either he's even better at hiding it now or he legitimately changed for the better.

My profession is infosec and I can tell you that many of the "good guys" (white hats) in our industry used to either be criminals (black hats) or at the very least questionable (gray hats). People can change especially after they've been incarcerated.
What is the added value of working with a guy whose only achievement was to give PEDs?
Nutrition and supplements have a marginal role in performance and any competent nutritionist could do that job.
Conte sells mostly his ZMA supplement for which scientific evidence is very poor.

If he was working in drug testing, I could understand, but here, it is still super shady.

Most charitable interpretation: Conte's athletes get his useless supplements for free and he is using their names for advertisement.

He has a legitimate business now as far as we can tell. SNAC supplements are only a part of it. He also offers a specialized training program (hypoxic) to naturally stimulate red blood cell production in his athletes. Additionally he offers consultation and sells SNAC merchandise. ZMA isn't the only popular product they offer. There's a whole range of them in their catalog for both pre & post-workout.

Take a look at the dozens of top athletes he's worked with over the years: Andre Ward, Terence Crawford, Nonito Donaire, Mikey Garcia, Zab Judah, Caleb Plant, Shawn Porter, Demetrius Andrade, Daniel Jacobs, Julian Williams, obviously Devin Haney, etc. Do we really suspect them all of doping under Conte?

Ever heard of Dr. Margaret Goodman? She created VADA and is in the International Boxing Hall of Fame. They have a close relationship. If she felt that he was still pushing dope on the side then they wouldn't be. I'd trust her judgement over any boxing fans speculating that Conte is still the same guy he was 20 years ago.

It apparently can even be much simpler than that. There are studies that indicate ostarine contamination can occur due to body fluid exchange, specifically sweat and saliva, with someone that is taking the substance.

In one case a set of hamstring sleeves tested positive for ostarine. Which amazing proves even the freakin equipment in pro sports is juiced!

But seriously, the apparent range of Ryan's sample is consistent with the results of a controlled transfer study that demonstrated the substance in the urine of an athlete simple due to normal living conditions with her boyfriend who was taking ostarine. Considering the amount of sweat and saliva exchanged during boxing training these studies create a compelling case for completely unintentional, non-negligent, and non performance enhancing contamination.

What I'm saying is that any supplement provider has very limited added value, unless he provides some extra.
I've read his website, his SNAC smells like absolute horsecrap (like most supplements companies tbh). What are his scientific credentials?

And frankly, to me, the facts he bangs one of the big bosses of PED testing raises even more suspicion.

Can we suspect all his athletes of doping? Of course... the guy juiced the most famous track and field athletes at the time. Now he is back in the same business, he is tight with the VADA boss who knows all the tricks, and he snitches ln the competition.

Bottom line: not accusing the guy, he could be straight, but would not be the least suprized if he just does the same again.

What are his scientific credentials? Why don't you look them up if you want to know the specifics. ESPN rated him the top pioneering sports scientist in the world. He's been working closely with world class athletes for several decades. Conte is banging Dr. Margaret Goodman now? LOL. Both are in their 70s. I doubt they do much banging with anyone at that age. Until you have actual evidence of collusion then it's all speculative.
