Sakuraba >>> St. Pierre and Hughes, is that correct?

FYI, your quote is proof that the Rampage fight wasn't a work lol
He specifically stated he doesn't lose fights for money

Rampage didn't accept the bribe to lose correct (or at least so he says). The point was that Pride did offer an opponent of Sakuraba the opportunity to lose for more money. And if Rampage was offered money, why wouldn't any of Sakuraba's other opponents have been as well?

Rampage saying they tried to bribe him shows that they could've done the same elsewhere. So therefore how many of his wins were actually legit?

Dream fights. Would be awesome to see both GSP and Hughes try to lay in Sakuraba's guard.

Saku's fight with Gilles Arsene was a work, but since nobody has ever heard of Gilles Arsene I'm sure people will get over it.

of course

the idea of GSP beating prime rampage is laughable

instead he ducked 36YO anderson silva and got retired by hendricks. now he dedicates to media and trolling about his "future" fights

enough said...

He was amazing, and might have had a shot at beating hughes. Don't think he would come close to GSP

Are you suggesting Saku beat a prime Rampage? Lol.
ok, maybe not in his prime

but i never saw GSP take a real challenge like that

i saw him complaining about size... and then challenging a paper champ

Prime Hendricks beats Wand 10/10. There's a reason Hendricks declined after USADA ....
lol prime Wand went to a draw with prime CroCop and lost a split decision to Mark Hunt. These two gentlemen would KO the entire welterweight roster in one night.

You're gonna talk as much bullshit as you can get away with.

Head-to-head I just don't see how anyone could favor GSP or Hughes to beat Saku. Hughes style is tailor made for Saku as he is worse on the feet and had poor submission defense over is career.

GSP could theoretically just Jab and move to a UD, but I'd favor Saku to either hurt him the feet or submit him.
this isnt about what ifs and possibilities. Resumes and accomplishments define a fighter. GSP has a far more impressive resume than Saku. Regardless if he beat Rampage, Vitor, Shamrock, Gracies etc. IIRC Vitor was still only 20/21, was Rampages first fight in the big leagues, he knocked out an old Shamrock.

Considering GSP was never a submission specialist, it's pretty unlike GSP survives a tangle with a 22 year old Rampage at any point of his career.

That isn't a knock on GSP, it just illustrates that GSP doesn't have the kind of style suited to defeating vastly larger opponents whom would have the grappling advantage against him.

I think that's true, and I think he dances on Saku's body.

Never thought about it, but a fight between prime gsp and saku would be a real treat.
