He was in danger of being typecast after Spicoli, I was surprised to see him act serious in badboys. But, I really don't remember that movie very well so I'll pick Mystic River or Carlito's Way. The only thing that would give Mystic River an edge would be that the Kleinfield character has been criticized and could be said to be over the top.
