Social Stocks

Airlines and gas are good to buy now.

I'm really looking at adding some airlines and some cruise stocks for the long haul. These stocks are just RIDICULOUSLY low compared to their historical data.

For example Carnival Corporation is at 11.50. It hasn't been this low since 1993! It's last big dip was 2008 and it briefly dropped to like 18ish. It's 5 year low prior to covid was $44.

I also see Delta (DAL) is severely undervalued.

I missed out on huge gains in the gaming world like MGM, BYD. They've jumped a lot in the past 10 days or so and you are going to get profit takers.

I just don't see how Carnival Corp can go much lower unless they completely bankrupt. Same with Royal Carribean

Invest in Porn, everyone loves porn.

what porn specifically? gay porn was low for a long time then spiked. I feel like it took a bit of a hit but will keep peaking. Especially one we have the tech for men to reproduce with other women. It’s a long hold but eventually when we don’t need women anymore and they get phased out gay
Porn will become straight porn and corner the market of porn.

Just my ignorant opinion, but I can't see cruise lines ever recovering to previous earnings levels after this. Same with airlines, but to a lesser extent, being more a necessity than discretionary leisure.

My opinion is also completely ignorant btw. :) - I do agree that I can't see them recovering to previous earnings....especially cruises. BUT I also think people have short memories and eventually people will go back out and spend money on vacation and cruises. As far as airlines I think a LOT of flying is business related as well as visiting family and stuff and I believe that will return to a certain extent. I don't think it will be a 2 year return to glory but I think 5-10 years from now those companies will make money. Plus with airlines I don't think governments can or will allow the airlines to fail much like how the protected auto manufacturers during the last big recession.

We used to play some stock market competition when I was in middle school, one year I won 1st in state by dumping all my funds into Starwood Hotels and forgetting about it.

Don't do that though.

I would like some feedback on my stock strategy for this year and onward.

I own these 16 stocks both in a SEP IRA and regular account.

Costco
Redfin

ISRG
SQ
SE
PLD
AMD
CRM
SMR
GOOG
ADSK
ABNB
ZS
SHOP
This is what I plan on doing. Own at least 100 shares each of the aforementioned stocks.

Sell weekly calls where available to collect premiums at varying strike prices but not too close to the current share. Sell puts of the stocks on red days to possibly pick up more shares of these stocks at good entry points while collecting premiums.

Will not be daytrading as these stocks I'm holding for the long term. If I get assigned I will look to pick up 100 of those stocks asap.

I know I'm techcentric but I feel they will rally and because of their volatility premiums are better. The risk is with poor corporate earnings and layoffs are we going to have a recession and with it a 20% drop in the overall market in the 1st quarter. I haven't implemented this yet but next month seems likely I may.

I am not a expert by any means but want to test this theory out.

I'm done with meme stocks and though I still have crypto it's not my main investing priority as it's not as stable as the stocks I own.

I could park my money in an interest earning account and earn upwards of 4% but that doesn't appeal as much as this strategy.

Let me hear what you think of my plans. Better than cloning my dog or no?

I am gonna mess with it, whT are some food stocks to. Uy now that the market is all messed up im thinking think mike bu biotepk is a good place to put money now or like gas because it's cneap I got the robinjood app

Buy as much United Airlines stock as humanly possible and hold onto it. There, that’s my charity work for the rest of the year.

TS, did you take this guy's advice? UAL was about 17 bucks per share when he posted this.

Today it's 48.

Too bad he's banned. Could've made us all rich.

Well carnival is still 11 so I hope you went with your plan b and bought Delta instead. They were 17 when you posted this and are now 38

Speak for yourself I'm already rich. Now I'm cursed and karma is going to make me lose everything and I'll be dumpster diving behind the Wendy's

I just buy and sell SPY a few times a month. Low risk low reward but 1% of $150,000 is 1,500. Rinse and repeat. Set money aside for taxes and reinvest profits.

Do you day trade Spy? Sell covered calls? I have daay traded TQQQ and SQQQ with some success but it's not for the faint of heart thus my new strategy
