Despaigne does look pretty good on the feet though to be fair. The most worrying thing is how he looked content to wait out the round instead of try and frame out from under there. Definitely needs to up his TDD and ground defense to become a real prospect. Once Jones leaves there isn't many HW grapplers that focus on grappling though. No idea how he can catch up to get past Blaydes or Almeida, but if he can avoid those guys he could be pretty decent.
He was fast tracked alright, to the bottom of the rankings and possibly unemployment.
