On tonight's LFA broadcast, Ron Kruk noted that one of tonight's fighters (Hadribeaj) fought a guy a few years back who has a 15-93 record and Miletech joked that everyone needs to pad their record a little lol

Jay Ellis - 15-93...and 88 of those losses are via stoppage (mostly subs). He's 36 and has been fighting for 15 years, so is averaging just over 7 fights per year. Incredibly, until just a couple of years ago, he was a KOTC mainstay. https://www.sherdog.com/fighter/Jay-Ellis-12988

Just googled and found Kenneth Allen who seems to have given up after going 1-41, with 38 stoppage losses...https://www.sherdog.com/fighter/Kenneth-Allen-13050

I suppose that we should respect anyone who has the balls to make the walk...and I guess we can admire their persistence...but this seems to be a *wee* bit crazy. Any other horrific records out there that you guys have come across?

Allen’s record isn’t as bad as it seems there

He’s allegedly got 15 wins

not close to as bad as them, but for someone who was in the UFC, and that losing streak of just getting destroyed, seemingly looking to die in the cage, Sean Salmon
https://www.sherdog.com/fighter/Sean-Salmon-14515

also one of the most brutal head kick KO's ever

Also I think Jessica Rakoczy 1-5-1 record is the worst I’ve seen in the ufc modern era

Salmon didn't pass the eye test in any way, though -- dude looked like an absolute dweeb. That was the first time I thought I saw a possible death in the Octagon. Only other time I felt similarly was Masvidal/Askren.

Also ffs, some of these fighters either don't have gfs/wives telling them "please stop for my sake" or they just don't give a fuck.

The MMA Internet might not agree on much, but on Kenneth Allen it seems to have reached a rare consensus: The dude flat-out sucks.

But if you ask him, you’ll learn that there’s another name he takes a strange sort of pride in, and it’s one that might explain a lot about how Allen became the MMA community’s favorite inside joke.

“The guys on the circuit, they called me the Band-Aid,” Allen told MMAjunkie. “If someone gets hurt or pulls out of a fight and they need someone to step in to keep the fight on the card, I have no problem taking it.”

This guy should not be shit on. He has fought actual real UFC fighters.

I don't know shit about the guys personal life, but it seemed like he just wanted to die in the cage.

hmmm...but clicking on his name gives a 'fighter not found' message and he has no wiki...but then I found another link that backs up a 15-41 record:

https://forum.mixedmartialarts.com/f/2C0931D178241EAB/Kenneth-Allen/

There, a majority of fights as listed as unsanctioned...yet then Sherdog includes a bunch of those losses, but none of the wins. I can't say I'm invested enough to do a deeper dive though lol
