I'm running 70 miles Coast to coast from Carlisle to Newcastle along the path of Hadrian's Wall (inspiration for GoTs Wall) to raise money for Cancer Research.

Now my watch begins.

*UPDATE*

I'm sorry Sherbros I failed, it's 1am and my body just crapped out on me.

Got to 6 miles from the finish and started feeling awful, found a portaloo and suddenly passed out for a minute.

I tried to get back to the group after the toilet but my vision and balance started going so sat down and started passing out again, a steward came to speak to me and I was a bit loopy so he asked for my tracker and said my race was over.

So damn close to the end.

Just one of our group is still heading for the finish, not a successful day but we gave it our best.

Good job. Good luck.
70 miles, fuck! That is a long distance. A marathon is 26 miles. Are you stopping along the way? I would stop at a motel at the 35 mile marker, wash up, eat, and sleep. Continue the other 35 miles the next day. Don't run tired...

Looks like a nice route on google maps (although I couldn't even manage to run a mile these days). When you're running just imagine there's a white walker behind you and you have no plot armour! Good luck.

Fucking Epic , Good Luck.

Since you post on sherdog we know you are at the peak of human athletic ability. Im sure that you can keep the world record pace for a mile the whole way. I expect you to be done in about 4 hour and 20 minutes.

Really though good luck, that is a a hell of a run.
