Phil Davis made 30/30 against king mo earlier this year

Tony Ferguson is also a more exciting fighter with a more interesting (in a weird way) personality and is much higher ranked

Why is this a comparison?

Per this article accurate as of two days ago; http://thesportsdaily.com/mma-manif...salary-main-ufc-career-fighter-earnings-html/

Phil Davis only made $530,000 his entire UFC career spanning 12 fights including Reebok sponsorships. That's about $44k/fight with no indication that he would be receiving higher or equal pay when his contract was up given that he was a boring fighter, 2-2 in his last 4, going into negotiations on a loss and the direction the UFC has been going.

In his Bellator career, he has made $130k against Newton, $60k against Carmont, $60k against King Mo, $60k against McGeary, and $30k against Bader not including any sponsorship money. That's $68k/fight average with good bargaining power going into his next contract.

Your post sucks ass. Tony Ferguson's money has nothing to do with Phil Davis' potential earnings, and Phil Davis' money is clearly better in Bellator.

A relatively top star of one org compared to a relatively top star of another.

Phil Davis is one fight away from another title fight lol and left UFC for more money and opportunity

Bellator posted salaries aren't accurate, these guys didn't turn down ufc deals for 30-50k like what's published. You think the UFC didn't offer Rory atleast 50/50? cause that's what they publish that he gets which isn't correct.

Maybe you don't understand.

Tony Ferguson making $500k in the UFC does not ever translate into Phil Davis also making $500k in the UFC if he were still there.

Actually, Ferguson made 501k. You forgot the Reebok money.

They weren't offered UFC deals you clown. And why aren't we including UFC under the table bonuses?

this is a really shitty thread for someone who has been on sherdog since 2012

Bellator allows sponsors. UFC has the Reebok deal which sucks unless you are fighting for a belt

So Ferg would be capable of making 500k in Bellator? Yet the face of bellator Chandler gets paid 1/10 of that? K

Benson Henderson has had one sponsor , his own gym (lol) , since leaving for "sponsor opportunity"

Rory made 400k against Daley in Bellator.

You think the UFC didn't offer Rory a deal at all? haahah how dense are you? i'm sure bare minimum they're paying Rory & Mousasi is 200k per fight & pretty sure it's higher cause UFC not losing them for nothing, they lost cause bellator was willing to pay more.

Rory made 400k against Daley in Bellator.
So a much bigger draw and more well known to casuals and still makes less? Cool. He's also on record saying he makes less in sponsor money because he's waiting for big sponsors, ok Rory
