No one lied to the banks. His company gave an estimate, the banks gave their estimate. Every deal like these are done this way throughout the world. The banks went with their own estimate. Everyone made money. No parties were damaged. No parties filed suite. The Democrats of NY filed the suit to attack their political opponent. It's called tyranny and you support it. That's you.

i've got an idea . maybe the fraudy orange election-losing rapist should go back to the banks, tell them he needs to borrow some money to pay his surety bond, and then lie to them about the value and dimensions of the state of new york's fraud judgement against him so that he can take out a bigger loan.
