Elections Trump Indicted On 91 Counts

You are the limbo king. No bar too low for you, eh pal?

1) Merchan used self selection, giving jurors an out if they wanted it. That's why 1/2 of the pool was dismissed right off the bat.

2) You get processed where you comitt the crime. Don't want to go to court in Manhattan?? Don't do crime in Manhattan.

3) Why lie? What is it about being part of the Repugnantcan party that makes you unable to be truthful?? Like, I KNOW you aren't a dumb guy, yet you embrace obvious lies. Is this so that you don't have to examine your own misguided value system? You KNOW lying is wrong right?

Judge Merchan has NOT made a decision about the Graduation. 100% fabrication. Not only that, Trump hasn't gone to any of his other children's graduations, as if he'd go to Baron's if it weren't an attempt to delay. You talk about MSM turning tiny-D into a victim, but it's the exact opposite. Faux, Gnusmax etc./ Alina Habba and Trump himself all repeat this bold faced lie in order to garner sympathy from his rubes... ie) You.

4) Your legal word salad is exceptionally misguided. But rather than explain what has already been explained, we'll just have to agree that you'll still be spouting this bullshit after the trial is long over and it's all been adjudicated.

1. The "self selection" was a straight up question as to if they could be unbiased and 50% said "no".
2. You think Change of Venue is not a thing when a jury pool is completely rigged against a Defendant, but that would not be the case 50 or 100 miles away in the same state?
3. I quit being a Republican when George H Bush said, "no new taxes".... and then proceeded to have new taxes.
4. Meh... you didn't really say anything, but I have to give you credit for actually delivering on topic content, unlike so many of your Left Cult buddies.

ahh yes. the rigged jury. the prosecution has to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the fraudy orange election-losing rapist is guilty. but lil' skippy over here has already got his excuses locked and loaded. he knows.

Donald must be pleased that the process is moving along quite nicely today, besides the small hiccups this morning.

12 jurors have been selected and now just need to finish up with selecting the alternates.

After Trump's team used up their peremptories it was like popcorn. All 12 jurors + 1 alternate all onboard. Both sides will be doing as much background research over night as possible... I wouldn't want to be articling at either team tonight... you ain't sleeping. They lost two jurors after day 2 (one as a result of jury intimidation, and another because the DA determined that he lied on his intake interview as to his criminal past), so it isn't inconceivable that they'll lose another one or two tomorrow.

Now down to 11 alternates...each side gets 2 peremptory challenges per slot. (Kind of disproportionate with the number of challenges for the main jury, but that's the system).

I am very surprised that they are moving so quickly. Merchan has got that court running like a machine, it would appear.

The news told me it is a maximum of six alternates, fyi. Hopefully, gets done today and opening arguments happen Tuesday, maybe?

Yes, you're absolutely right..... 6 alternates with two premptories per alt for each side.
My mistake.

I think (although I could be mixing up Tues and Thurs) that tiny-D's contempt hearing is set for Tuesday, and that could hold things up. If all that results is a 7K fine, I'll be pretty disappointed. That's no deterrent in this case.

Better be on your best behavior this weekend Donald, or you might be getting an intimate look into your future by mid week.

1) Yep, THAT comment is accurate.

That's not how you initially represented it though. You tried to spin it to infer that the jury pool was terrible, when that is absolutey not the case.

I suspect that exclusal rate would be common in most jury selections if they were given the insta-out.

I've been selected for jury duty twice, and if I had an insta-out I surely would have taken it.... and it had nothing to do with the case in question. Purely from a financial perspective, they pay you like $30/day and you are losing your actual income during that time. I don't know about you but my mortgage/power/intern et/satellite etc. is way more than that paltry allowance.

2) Change of venue IS a thing, but I (and Justice Merchan) don't think it's warranted here. In a borough of 1.6M folks you don't think they can find 18 unconflicted jurors? GTFO.

3) Great, you were Maga before there was Maga. An empty vessel waiting to be filled with stupid.

You seem to have avoided the bit where you parroted an absolute lie. Why is that? Embarrassed that you believed the propaganda of a habitual liar?

I'd be very interested to see what happens if the judge ever tries to throw him in the hooscow for a night, ala My Cousin Vinny. I wonder if his SS escort will go all praetorian guard on the courtroom bailiff.

Nope,
bailiffs would escort him out and the SS (<— I’m sure just a coincidence)
Would fallow in suit and sit down in the tank with civilian trump.

Followed by a few smooth brained MAGA folk heading to their local courthouses and police departments bearing their arms in hands attempting to call for release.

Business as usual.
