Any TUF historians here?

In the seasons that one coach either practically or completely shuts out the other, when the coaches eventually fight who won?
Pulver lost to Penn while winning most fights in TUF and Young Jay Chick has beaten Gadelha after losing most fights in TUF
Dillashaw cleaned the show and then has beaten Garbrandt
Ortiz has beaten Shamrock and his bodybuilding coach
Evans has beaten Rampage
GSP has beaten Koscheck
Same for Pettis vs Melendez

Teams Pettis and GSP did better than Melendez and Kos though. The big example that immediately jumps to mind is Rashads team going 7-1 against team Rampage in the first round.

And yes, Rashad won. Cody/TJ was similar but at least Cody got to hang with the boys first.

Good to see Hubbard get a win. I always thought he looked like a very skilled fighter, even in his losses. In his wins, he usually beats the dog shit out of the other guy. It probably helps to train with Gaethje and Dober. I got him or Jason Knight winning.

Conor is in curseville lately...

- back to back losses & leg break
- losing TUF
- backed Katie Taylor's first loss, in Ireland + two other Irish fighters lost that night, with his attendance and support there

and then he just can't seem to get in that USADA testing pool. The wheels have been in motion so long! Meetings here, there, everywhere! He just can't seem to figure that one out. Wonder why!

The TUF formula is very stale and having Conor there isn't doing much to change that. Chandler is too nice of a guy to develop any real friction between the coaches. None of the fighters have stood out as interesting personalities or genuine talent so far.

I think either he's still having issues with his leg and won't be fighting this year or maybe ever again or they'll go the Brock/Jon Jones route and pull a special USADA exemption down the line.

Man these "prospects " aren't really skilled in anything in particular. Just below average guys that happen to be younger. Literally all of them seem like club fighters. Haven't seen any of them with any real high level grappling nor striking. Usually you'll get one specialist thats good at something. These guys started out with MMA but don't have "it".

Last TUF fight was very good
Both guys going at it, violent striking, vivid grappling, gnp that damage ...

The two rounds / sudden death format is a good one IMO.
