WHilst he is clearly a shit person and it kinda looks like he went to the trouble to get himself into the situation(if these messages are all true), he still shot the white guy armed with an Ak47 in the middle of the street. Sure you can walk down the street in Texas like that, but it's kind of a situation where everyone was wrong in their actions. Most other countries in the world, the two just chest poke each other and throw a few punches. In America we end up with people shooting each other. It's crazy to think that he actually has a legal right to drive into the middle of a protest, have a gun pointed towards him and then shoot the guy and is probably justified via self defence. What a world we live in.

The board that gets appointed by the governor and can be remove by the governor for any reason? Nothing to see there. Imagine a far right guy loving pure authoritarianism from his side. Who would have guessed?

That's pretty weak rationale. Does it apply to the woke DA who brought charges, after they had already been dismissed by another? Only the perceived right wing people can be partisan, right?

Anyways, it's over. All this crying and whining ain't gonna reverse his pardon.

Well when that DA took it to trial the defense team couldn't put up a winning strategy and he was convicted by a jury. Obviously there were some major doubts that Perry could get this conviction over turned. The pardon especially so quickly after the trial is a subversion of the justice system. Not even an attempt at an appeal. Amazing that calling the DA corrupt is cool, but not the governor and his direct power over the appeals board.

Look, it was clearly a complex case. Hence, why there are conflicting views on it with different DA's. You can post some more angry walls of text, but you're not doing anything but pissing yourself off. It's over. Nobody cares. You won't be able to cite this guy's name without the aid of Google in three months.
