Honestly, I don't think Stewart gets enough credit. His takedown defense looked pretty sharp and his cardio really held up.

I was scratching my head about some of the shit people were talking about Stewart, too. The guy has improved MASSIVELY since his pre-UFC fights (when he was legitimately awful), and was noticeably improving in every recent fight of his, including against Edmen Shabahzyan.

He has fixed his stance, improved multiple areas of his striking offense, improved his defense tremendously, become more technical and skillful as a wrestler, AND fixed his once-atrocious cardio. He has added brand-new weapons to his arsenal, whether a jab or a leg kick.

Even though Bevon Lewis looked better against Hall than Stewart did against Byrd or Shabahzyan, I didn't want to bet against that kind of improvement at -155.
