I think the UFC's plan all along was for Aspinall to defend his interim against Gane as the headliner. If there is one thing that Dana is good at is holding a grudge and Gane passing this over will not be forgotten anytime soon. Basically, Aspinall vs. anyone at this point works (but I still firmly believe it should be Jones vs. Aspinall, fuck the Miocic fight).

The UFC might as well get the Edwards/Belal fight over and done with and there is no better card to have Garry and Covington square off. I would be shocked if MVP isn't on the card, and Rakhmonov would make a good dance partner.
