UFC Fight Night: Almeida vs. Lewis PBP

Almeida is doing a great job of staying calm. Dropped some on his ML. It's shit value, but I see Lewis being the one that fades more as it goes on if it stays this way.

Another 10-8 for Almeida IMO
Up by 4 rounds effectively.
Lewis needs to go for broke from now on.

I guess the Over bets were the value this time around.

Congrats to the over bettors, definitely didn't think the fight would go into round 4. Sportsbooks making a killing off this fight.

Probably a 10-9 that time around due to Lewis having a brief bit of top control and landing some stikes.
Still, Almeida up by 5 rounds effectively, going into the 4th.

Such a stupid bet and I;m asking to get burned. Almeida -500

Was that a livebet? If so, I think that's a decent bet given the cardio levels/energy and round scoring of what we've seen so far.
EDIT: I grabbed a couple of extra units at -834. Again, it's terrible odds, but given the state of this fight I think the risk is worth it.

At least the under bettors can sleep easy that even if we could've got u2.5, 3.5 etc at good odds we still would've lost. Way it goes, all in the game.

These nice folks are pulling a Hunt/Big Foot or a Ngangou/Black beast. Only happens once in a blue moon!

I think it's a case of Jailton being very cautious.
Netting some huge lopsided scorecard rounds, only exhausting enough energy to make sure that Lewis is depleted. With Lewis depleted, his only path to victory (powerful strikes) is gone.
It is NOT entertaining to watch obviously, but it is a great gameplan and requires a lot of patience, and self control to pull off.

That takedown seals it. I guess the Almeida ML was justified, and the Overs were the true values. Congrats to anybody who cashed in on those!

Partially agree, but I also believe he isn't really able to finish BB. Might be due to the opponent, might be just having an off night, might be a little exposed as overhyped. Probably bits and pieces of all the above.
