Tiny card for me. May add to Brunson and Saenz if odds keep widening. Herman +150 would get a play out of me too.

Lost my parlay but hedged it with not Edmen R1 and the Maia fight doesn’t go distance so broke about even.

should listen to myself about not parlaying big favorites!

Zero pre-bets for this one, especially since three fights I was strongly considering, Valiev-Emmers, Giles-Holland, and GM3-Herman were called off or changed.

1u on Maness at +250 after round 2, for the +2.5u for the event. It's modest, but sure beats the hell out of the -13.6u I had last event, heh.

Only pre-bet that I wish I had made in retrospect was Martinez at -235. That was also my biggest live-bet regret; I should have pounded the hell out of DNGTD after round 1 at +155. Yes, that prop is usually a huge trap for live lines, but if ever it was warranted, that was it.

Strongly considered pre-betting Brunson at his ridiculous ML price, but wanted to see if he would survive round 1 and live-bet him then.

He did, but I didn't particularly like what I saw, with Edmen easily getting up from takedowns, winning the striking, and the fight going at a slow pace, so I passed on him at +265. Don't particularly feel bad about it, either; Edmen is just a guy we had very little information about.

Turns out how his cardio is even worse than it was against Stewart 2 years ago (albeit in a fight that Edmen was wrestling heavily in, that was much higher-paced), but it could just as easily have been better.

Anywho, good to make some money on a disastrous card, and look forward to Bellator and the UFC this week to repair the bankroll further.

Trash card, trash plays. Lets get it over with I recon and be grateful not to be in a massive hole tomorrow.

Emmers + Jojo/Maia DEC 784 to win 500

Herman 195 to win 495

Martinez + Holland 1,600 to win 1,600 ( 624 )
Saenz DEC 400 to win 1,400

Holland RD3 SUB 20 to win 380

Luque RD3/DEC 562 to win 1,056

Good luck all see you on the other side.

Added pre bet :

I noticed that you tend to do really wel on ''shitty'' cards. Congratz, hope to get to that unit size one day!

Haha I'm not sure if that's a compliment but I've noticed that as well. Thanks man, congrats on the win too

Definitely a compliment man. Maybe the scarsity of initial good bets makes you zone in more and find hidden gems.

Good luck, it take a lot to get where he is. Are you the top 1%? Only 5% of poker player and 5% of mma bettor able to make money. He either do very early work to grab all the nice open line or he able to cap fight on the fly.

Luque + Borg at 2.35 for 2 unit

Holland by sub at 5.00 for 0.25 unit

Luque by sub at 11.00 for 0.25 unit

So Borg killed my parley being a fat fuck, now I'm stuck with two units on Luque at 1.53, may keep it, may cash it.

Luque hits, Brown really had nothing for him.

Hit the draw in the first fight of the night, bet Bobby after round 1 at even money, and Martinez KO after round 1

Yeah, it's very tough. I've made some decent profit since the last summer and slowly building my bankroll. I'll see how far I can get.
