I have to say, he speaks the truth. It's ridiculous that he fell in the rankings behind Machida

He is right. Being objective, he knocked the hell out of Bisping, Rockhold and Henderson. Machida knocked munoz and decisioned Mousasi, wich is not bad, but Vitor is clearly ahead. He knocked out 3 top 10 fighters.
Except for Weidman and Silva nobody in midleweight can claim a higher ranking.

Rankings is not about who would beat whom.

Rankings is about where each are within the division taking into account their wins/losses.
