Had several Volvos.
I would personally stay away from the Chines owned ones.
Even the Swedish military warn their personell to talk business in a Volvo these days.

Its not what it used to be.

I had an 07 xc90 with the 4.4 Yamaha V8. It was awesome except when the front suspension needed repairs

My Kia Rio was rear ended at a red traffic light, and I had a courtesy Volvo XC40 whilst it was in the shop for a week.

Very comfortable, very high quality and with lot of cool gadgets.

Way too over priced for the lack of styling they provide. They are made well though, but now having issues with replacement part delays and are often in shop for months with certain issues.

Been a fan of Volvos for a while now.

Last two cars have been 3 Series, but was close to getting an S60 each time.

Test drove an S60 Cross Country a while back when I was considering it as a second vehicle.

Always thought those were pretty cool.
