What’s fun to do in the Baltimore, D.C. area

If you like car racing and don't mind driving an hour or so summit point is having their "drift nirvana" this weekend. The normal racing up there is always fun but these social events get pretty nutty sometimes.

In the D.C. area, I'd recommend visiting Old Town Alexandria. It has great old architecture and it's fun to walk around and has some nice riverside views as well.
I'd agree wholeheartedly with this. Here is a list of the great restaurants and pubs there.

I've been to Hard Times, Murphy's Irish Pub, Union Street Public house, and I think Redrocks (a wood fired pizza place at least). I was there a week for a conference and ate out every meal. I really wanted to recommend Bilbo Baggins for their outstanding beer selection and yummy food, but found this article https://alexandrialivingmagazine.co...-baggins-restaurant-bar-alexandria-va-closes/ . Damn you, COVID! I see TS mentioned some museums, but there are many more including The National Gallery of Art, which I enjoyed immensely. The Zoo is also a pretty good time.

Anne Arundel Mall is connected to Maryland Live Casino.

The entire lot is huge with a ton of places like Dave & Busters, Movie theater ECT ECT

As far as museums and stuff like that goes I can't help you there. You would be better off going to DC if you want to do that but they do require vaccination to enter all buildings so you will need to be.

Best pizza in md is inferno pizzeria.

Soo many poverty suggestions itt, don't go to fucking arundel mills mall and the shitty casino.

I got a spare road bike if you wanna knock out 30 miles on some scenic roads with me.

Not from the states but been planning on visiting .If it was me flight to Miami for cheap .

I’ve done a few things, Lincoln memorial, Washington monument, museum of natural history. Things of that sort, I also ate a lot of crab , and went to an old bar in Baltimore . What else is there to do I’m there for 3 days
Go to the Smithsonian, it's really interesting. Food wise in DC Georgetown is awesome. The Harbour has some really nice views of the Potomac and there's plenty of great restaurants there. Georgetwon has a more local feel in DC. I lived a few miles outside of DC for a while and spent more time at The Harbour than anywhere else.

Also this place in Georgetown has a great tap list and the mussels are really good. It has a real underground sort of feel to it.

I lived in the D.C. area (Northern Virginia) for a few years and visited Baltimore. In Baltimore, I would recommend going to Camden Yards. I think it's the best baseball stadium in the US. And just explore as much of the overall Inner Harbor area as you can. You should also visit the National Aquarium.

Solid recommendations.

Inner Harbor is usually where the tourists go to start.

When one is in Baltimore, one must indulge in their world famous crack. The crack rocks are simply to die for. Once you are high as a MF, you'll find plenty of entertainment on E. Baltimore St

The Howl at the Moon piano bar down near the harbour was fantastic.

Hit up the crab cakes, really good stuff there.

Canton area and Fell’s Point had some good bars and restaurants.

Ellicott city was a nice old quaint town.

If you don’t mind roaming a little further, Harper’s Ferry is amazing on a sunny day.

Luray Cavens down in VA also spectacular.

hit up 7 corners area for the Vietnamese market on the weekend and see hot Vietnamese women dressed for success…there’s a famous Chinese roast duck restaurant there that almost all US presidents go to…
