With the fights taking place in tribal casinos and perhaps private islands I guess fighters will start juicing again no?

Haven't you heard USADA still has been visiting fighters since outbreak ?

It takes more than a global pandemic to stop those guys. After a nuclear apocalypse the only things left will be cockroaches and USADA.

I'm really shocked that someone wants USADA involved in any sports' testing on earth.
You guys really dont understand how big of a toll training takes on the fighters, how many injuries they're dealing with, they rarely fight being 100% healthy, and you want to rob them of their health, you want to see worse, less exciting fights for the sole sake of mma being a "clean sport"
give me a break for fooksake

They will ask via video conference : " are you clean"
Of course.jpg

Every fighter has a plausibly deniable excuse to avoid tests, we’re entering a new golden age of MMA gentlemen.

Bring back TRTor, All Natty Brock, Josh Barnett ,TRT Hendo etc for a UFC juiced to the gills event

The UFC can still bring them to the island if they want. USADA was voluntary from the beginning to make the UFC look good.

Frankly I believe the main "Villian" in causing the health issues for fighters that you mentioned is weight cutting. That is a simple fix logistically but the "Fighting Culture" is stuck in this loop. If fighters had to be within the limits of their weight class when in fighting shape without dehydrating to hit the upper limit of a weight class they would be all the better for it.

LW isn't 155 lbs. It is 146-155 so the fact is that BWs are really in that range. I hear constantly that fighters who win a fight easily and with no damage need time to recover from the weight cut. That causes them to fight twice a year on average when 4 times would be easy with no cutting.

" rob them of their health "

If the CTE doesn't do it, or the training injuries, the roids sure aren't going to save their "health"

Your post was really good until the overused (overused by many on sherdog) fake irish accent thing. I'm referring to "fooksake"

Since I am a pre usada mma fan, I say, let them juice.

Bad news for jones. All his opponents will be on the same stuff as him.

Once they decided to take them on,they cant get rid of them now. It would be a disastrous PR nightmare. I think Glory tried to do that and got torn apart for it.

One FC has it right.

They have hydration testing, during camp and on weigh ins to check how much weight you're cutting, it basically forces everyone to move up a weight class.

Askren was at Middleweight, Mighty Mouse is at 135lbs over there.
