Decent article about the Ball brothers signing one-year deals to Club Prienai Vytautas in Prienai, Lithuania.

Lavar says through his Big Baller IG account is that its not about the money and that their following a dream to play in the pros.

The team's head coach can't speak a lick of English and they will be the lone Americans on the team.

The team also could care less. Their Sports Director made it clear that the signing of the Ball Brothers has less to do with basketball than marketing. Teammates also see "off-court" opportunities with the arrival of the Balls. One of the players is auctioning off his season membership to games on his Facebook page.

What's your guys take on Lavar's move? Do you think he's using it as a stepping stone to get his son's in the NBA or strictly a publicly stunt/marketing move? And how do you think the Ball brothers will do in Southern Lithuania compared to life in Chino Hills?

I feel bad for them can't even play in Spain, Italy, France, UK, or Israel

LaVar just totally hosed his kids. Neither of them will ever make the NBA.

"Harrison Gaines, the Balls' representative, submitted terms of guaranteed minutes and an automatic car without gears. The deal, signed through June, includes a mutual out clause in February, one month after the Balls' arrival, should either side feel necessary to end the partnership."

How rock solid are contract laws in Lithuania? Anyone know?

Couldnt the Lavar get them somewhere nicer like Italy, Greece, or even China?

Why not China? Better market for his Big Baller Brand.

Lithuanians don't like people that aren't white. This whole thing just seems like a bad idea for so many reasons.

So their dad pulled them both out of school? That’s fucked up.

If they can put together a decent resume other there, then that should pay huge dividends. It's a different ballgame overseas compared to AAU.

Melo yea. Gelo wasn't gonna do shit at UCLA.

I'm not sure the NBA lets you play if you get bitten by a werewolf.

You think its possible in a one-year contract? Their minutes are limited too.
