What to Eat the Day of a Fight?

You should eat something that you are most used to and you have no trouble digesting. I like to eat some noodles with some meat.

ahhh good old 2 hour weighins

when i wrestled, my go to items were:
apple slices with a spread of 9pts peanut butter 1 pt honey
dried cranberries
granola bars
plain rice cakes w the peanut butter/honey spread

post competition, nothing beats china buffet

Can't believe this is a thread from 2007 and you guys are still replying to it. The guy who started this topic is probably dead, defiantly not fighting anymore!

I would haveto disagree with most people here. Brown rice is good for sure. But include some light veggies and a bit of protein. anything like a chicken soulvaki with a garden salad with cucumbers tomatos etc. I would also recoommned eating just half the meal to see how you feel. Your body wont be able to perform great if its spending too much energy on digestion.

Why the fuckin 8 year necropost bruh?

* Don't start with anything new, just eat like you do normally - starch, protein, fat and some vegetables.
* Don't eat too much 1-2 hours before the contest.
* Make sure you drink and stay hydrated throughout the day (urine should be almost water in it's colour).

EDIT: Old thread.. oh well.
