My wife and I have been off work since the 13th and honestly, it has been the most relaxing, eye-opening experience.
We have spent an amazing amount of time with our daughter who is normally in daycare. Worked on our yard, hikes with the dog. We finally began preparing our house for city sewage off of septic and had a bonfire with our neighbour and her family.
I've slept in every day, made breakfast each morning and spent time cooking an amazing dinner each evening.
Going to be tough to go back to work. This is what life should be and I'm appreciating my friends, family and neighbors so much more.
