According to Mueller, Putin had Russian military intelligence hack into the DNC and to John podesta's emails. After Trump said Russia, if you have Hillary's 33,000 emails the Press would love to get them, (I'm just paraphrasing that but it was pretty close ) Russia ramped up their attacks.
Now rewind to 2015. According to the Washington Times, Barack Obama spent hundreds of thousands of dollars of taxpayer money to build the foundations of a campaign to oust Netanyahu.

Is it normal for every country to meddle in elections? Is this Russian thing is being overblown? Or should Obama face the same scrutiny that Putin is facing?

In short, not much. Just like many world leaders, they are working for the same people. It's not us. The whole thing is kayfabe and people get confused because Donald Trump, for example, plays the role of the Donald Trump, the TV character. The same for Obama, Putin, Hillary, Bill, Bush, etc..
 
Obama murdered way more people with drones. He also funded a terrorist group in Syria’s civil war that led to the greatest humanitarian crisis in the history of the earth. He also brought back profitable slavery and incest rape in Libya when he assassinated the Libyan dictator.
If you take the blinders off, Obama night actually be one of the most terrible human beings to ever live. Very evil on paper. But actually kind of a pleasant guy on tv.

I'm no Obama fan. But Putin is murdering people at will according to reports of an operative being poisoned in the UK. Along with whatever hiss military is doing to kill people in the Ukraine, Crimea, and Syria, he's no angel

The short answer that patriotic Americans will say is that it is like condemning other nations spying in the US while we do the same thing to them, i.e. Russia doing it to us is bad cause it is done to advance Russian interests while we doing it to others isn't bad because it is done to advance American interests.

Even Fox , with all their lying and bias , I would still consider a ok source. So Washington Times saying Obama tried to torpedo Bibi should be taken with a sack of salt.

Politifact looked into this rumor peddled by Washington Times and assorted rightwing media, and the analysis isn't a cut-n-dry vindication , far from it . It is very misleading to claim Obama funded anti Netanyahu electioneering.

There seems to be nothing conclusive either way. It is a fact that us tax dollars went two groups that actively,maybe after the fact, tried to oust Netanyahu. I'm sure Obama knew where the money was going. It's also a fact that Russia hacked the DNC and podesta and bought some Facebook ads. But it does seem similar that Obama was giving money to anti-establishment groups whether it was before or after the fact, and that Putin was also trying to sew discourse by helping an anti-establishment underdog cadidate.

Your Obama hatred is showing . You are ascribing things to him that weren't his doing or were out of his hands.

Obama did not want to get involved in Syria, he was pressured into it by McCain, Neocons, Britain, France, Saudi, UAE, Turkey, Hillary. The hawks here wanted him to depose Assad with direct US military action. He didn't want to , but he had to give in a bit so he funded the 'rebels'. If Romney, McCain or Hillary had been president, we very likely would have taken Assad out (extremely likely if Hillary or McCain were President).

And in the case of Libya, the Neocons, Hillary, McCain, Israel, the French and Brits were pushing Obama. Obama was reluctant to get involved , which led to the GOP infamously saying he "was leading from behind" . You are just plain deceiving people in your post. If you want to blame entities for the slavery and rape, blame the Libyan groups who carried it out and society for condoning it, blame Hillary, the Neocons, the GOP establishment, McCain, France, Britain etc..since these were the people who were applying pressure on Obama to get involved.

Nothing wrong with Obama increasing drone strikes in Af-Pak, it was much needed. And ironically while you righties will point at his drone strikes as a bad thing , your side will simultaneously peddle the meme that Obama is a crypto Muslim who favors Islam or that he is a pansy.

There is nothing to prove Obama actively tried to torpedo Netanyahu with US gov funds.

He is the president of the United States. He can do anything he wants. He could have rejected going into any of those countries. He did it because he wanted to.

Irrespective of whether he would lose lobbyists or money or reelection, h could have chosen not to destroy those countries.
