What's your favorite games that you believe most people haven't played?

The game i chose is Enslaved: Odyssey to the West. Every year for Christmas and birthday my wife buys me 5-10 random cheap games for various consoles, and the year I got Enslaved, I also received Vanquish. For both games I was like "the hell are these?" Enslaved was so much fun though, I think I even tried to platinum it. It was gorgeous for a 360 game too, but I rarely ever hear it talked about on YouTube lists, and wiki lists the sales as being disappointing.

I've still yet to play Vanquish, though I do pick it up every now and then and think "soon..."
"Enslaved" is such a mystery as to why it failed. I'm guessing it had a bad release window and just got buried. It's a tight game, and you'd think it would've picked up some steam, even back then, after all the praise, but it just went straight into the bargain bin.

"Vanquish" is legit. It's quite short, but the gameplay is awesome.

Most people haven't played any game that's ever existed. <Neil01>

That said probably Oni off the top of my head, mostly because i'm surprised by how many haven't heard of it.. Despite it being Rockstar and Bungie lol

Is there a playable version of Oni around today?

I absolutely loved Myth, another game by them before they made Halo. The only way to play that now is pirating it and dosbox I believe which is a real shame

It's pretty easy to run on PCSX2.
Bungie also made Marathon games in the 90s (really cool FPS that was only on Mac).

Kards - The WWII Card Game on Steam. A favorite at the moment, it's a strategy and tactics deck builder where you play against people online.

I went through the archives and found a few semi-obscure favorites from the past.

It's not the same genre but Shogo is another badass sci fi anime game from around that was only on PC. It was a FPS and split between being on foot and being in a giant robot.

Back in the day Monolith was producing some absolute banger FPS games. Blood, blood II, Shogo, FEAR, AvP 2 (superior to the first, imo), No One Lives Forever 1 and 2, Tron 2.0. For a time it seemed like they couldn't miss.

They're still producing quality with the Shadow of Middle Earth games, don't get me wrong. But I remember back way back when a Monolith shooter was a huge deal.

In fact Tron 2.0 seems like a great game that kinda gotten forgotten over the years.

Off the top of my head, in no particular order:
Tomba
Rule of Rose
Kuon
Fear Effect
Lost Odyssey
Mad Father
Nightmare Creatures 2
Gekido
Way of the Samurai series
Klonoa
Okage

Two games that came back to me today that I absolutely loved back in the day were Warhammer: Shadow of the Horned Rat and Warhammer: Dark Omen

They were like small scale Total War games before Total War became a thing. Fuck I loved these games when I was a kid, and they were one reason why Shogun Total War completely blew my mind and became an obsession back it released. I remember back then thinking a Warhammer game in the Total War engine would be the best shit ever (Not that Warhammer Total War games failed to deliver, they were great too (I haven't played #3 yet))
