Norm MacDonald said that there are no funny female comedians. They try to be funny by being mildly attractive and talking about what sluts they are. That’s the formula. I tend to agree.

i found ali wong to be pretty funny. i think i watched either 2 or 3 of her specials. the first i thought was hilarious, the subsequent ones i thought had a lot of similar material, but if they were my first viewing of her, i would have thought they were just as funny.

in general, i think the vast majority of stand up comedy, male or female, sucks dick and is not funny enough to be worth watching. those that are are exceptional.
