HMC needs to stop fighting. It's just sad.

It's like Stephan Struve. Being too big is actually a disadvantage.

No it's not a disadvantage, they just don't know how to fight using their size as the advantage. Look at the size difference, if you know how to use your size that's a huge advantage. From what I've seen they don't fight long range, they always let the smaller fighters get in close and they don't work movement enough to be able to keep distance because they rely too much on size and don't work enough with movement, inside fighting, clinch, and scrambles. They should study Jon Jones to figure how how to use your size and length as an advantage. His style is a perfect blue print for fighters with a size and reach advantage.

It is not a disadvantage at all. Choi came into kickboxing and went straight into the top ten, just because of his size and strength. He was one of the hardest punchers in history. After the tumor and the operation he was never the same.

Also look at Semmy. The best kickboxer in history, and one of the best HW mma fighters in history.

Jon Jones is a special talent and he's not nearly the size of Struve or HMC. Being that big, you're prone to a lot of health problems and yes, it's a disadvantage in fighting. It's hard to move a body that big quickly. Jon Jones is a moot argument because he doesn't fit the description of "too big".

Health problems is true but that comes after the fighting career. Size shouldn't limit peoples ability to be explosive, they just don't train it. Look at professional basketball players, they show you can be athletic and explosive with that size. You either train it or you don't.

It's like comparing a small cat vs a lion, and assuming a lion can't be fast and explosive because of the bigger size.

Lol, you're literally talking nonsense at this point. Where are you getting this crap from? Stop speculating, larger people are more prone to joint issues, heart problems, all sorts of stuff.

Having a long stride and being closer to the hoop, basketball is a sport that favors a tall, lanky build and you're talking about top athletes here IN BASKETBALL. It's a different sport. The comparison is way off.

Get two non-pro athlete guys that are relatively athletic. One 7 ft tall and another 5'6" and try to teach them this.

I bet you the 7 ft guy struggles way more.

The medical problems come from them not being as active as they should be, the people in the nba don't have the same issues because they are always training and keeping themselves healthy. They are making their heart work, and doing stuff that strengthens their joints.

Want your proof just look at the whole roster of the NBA, if you want you can check the whole roster of professional basketball players globally.

I'm talking about athleticism, it isn't reserved just for smaller people. Yes someone who practices backflips will be able to do a back flip, someone who doesn't will not.

Basically bigger fighters fall back on their size and don't work everything else, while a smaller fighter will.

Very succesful kickboxer of course. One of the best HW mma fighters in history is a bit of a stretch imo.

Who do you consider his best win in mma?

Semmy is nowhere near the best kickboxer in history, and not even top 30 HW MMA fighter.

You don't get it. You keep talking bout top athletes. These are exceptions when we're talking about general athleticism. It's a moot argument.

You might wanna just read my post again because the second part of you post has nothing to do with my point. Two non-pro athletes, both relatively athletic. One 7ft tall and the other 5’6”. BOTH PEOPLE ARE GOING TO PRACTICE THE BACKFLIP. THE SMALLER GUY IS LIKELY TO GET IT FIRST. Reading comprehension bro.
