He's become a parody of himself. Why is he still hanging around trying to come back and compete at 35, on a 2 fight losing streak, coming off a devastating leg injury? That was his body telling him to quit. The perfect time to retire based on his own original career goals would have been either after the Mayweather fight or after the loss to Khabib.

After the Mayweather fight would have been the best for his mma legacy. He put up a decent showing against an all time great in an entirely different sport. He could have retired and it would have been left up in the air whether he could have beaten Khabib since he retired from mma on top of the world as a double champ.

But I understand why he took the Khabib fight. He had started his whiskey deal and needed a fight to promote it. That fight made sense because it was the biggest rivalry in mma history and he made the biggest mma salary of his career but why did he keep competing after that?

He is thirsty ... for violence ?

Conor's a bullshitter, everything that has ever come out of Conor's mouth has been complete and utter bullshit. For example, Conor and Schaub both have the same disease, it's just a different type of bullshit strain.

Now for the love of God, stop making Conor thread, please.

Cause he thought all you needed in life is money. It's more than just that. Conor probably did not realize the journey to the top with all those experiences along the way is something money just cannot buy.

Then there's the part where he sold his soul for Mayweather money and then got beat up badly by Khabib. Conor probably feels like he has unfinished business left. To prove to fans, doubters, haters and especially himself

It seems to me he pretty much stuck to the plan. He made an insane amount of money for the Mayweather fight in 2017. And in the 6 1/2 years since, he's only fought 4 times. He got in, got rich, and got out. He hasn't been a full-time fighter (or lived a fighter's life) since getting rich.

The irony is when he made that tweet they were friends.

Looks like Khabib took that mantra to heart while Conor forgot it.
Conor never forgot it, he just never meant what he said. Like I said, the guys more full of shit than a horse stable. You could smell it all over him every time he opened his mouth when he was coming up.
