Why do Muay Thai stylists that go into Glory refuse to adjust their pace to keep up?

I have an old instructional training video from Por Pramuk put out a long time ago when Buakaw was there and he trained plenty of Boxing on the mits with Jude. That's when Pornsawan was there who was a decent pro boxer.

The thing is, most all camps have Boxing trainers. They don't have to "cross train," Boxing is already part of Muay Thai.

That was Por Pramuk Arts of Muay Thai. They also had Kompayak at the time who became a boxing world champion.

And if you watch the tape some of the first techniques they go over are your standard "dutch style" power punch to leg kick combinations, it was something the gym was comfortable with. Fighters like Pajonsuk would mix in punch and leg kick combinations to good effect in muay thai.

Yup that's the one. Downloaded it off the K-1FANS forum ages ago, and whoever put it up had the audio out of sync so I spent hours fixing it. Have no clue where that DVD is now.
