It would seem like the best way to make both guys happy. Conor wants a fight, masvidal wants to get paid. It seems like a no brainer. McGee got even said he wanted to fight the BMF champ when he was talking about his 2020 season in that Russia interview.

has Dana spoken about why he doesn’t want this fight?

What makes you think that's the direction the UFC wants to go?

Clearly the UFC wants Conor to wait for Gaethje vs Khabib winner.

No Conor until there's a gate, so maybe October

To me it makes sense especially right now but ufc clearly will make Conor fight the winner of Gaethje/Khabib next

Would Conor even accept that fight?

Because conrat fears being ko. Him begging for his life is not a loss in his eyes but getting ko'd is

Because Mas is "too big for Conor" as Dana and Conor casuals say.

The reason is simple. The UFC doesn't want to make this fight because Conor has a VERY real chance at losing, and Conor losing is bad for business. Dana has publicly stated he doesn't like that fight for Conor. The other, but related reason, is that it throws a monkey wrench into their plans of inserting him in to 155 title contention.

Why doesn't the UFC make Masvidal fight other fighters?
It's like the entire world is holding their breath for Conor Mcgregor.

Is this really a serious question?

How about Masvidal vs Anderson Silva?
If he wants to get paid so bad, fight someone else!
