No real "rankings" then but Wand was a WVC "champ" when Vitor used his head as a speed bag in 98'. That was a VERY big deal in Brazil at the time.

GSP never tapped to strikes, his arms were flailing from being hit. Serra is not a journeyman LW, he was bigger than GSP on fight night.

Weidman in no way shape or form "son'd" Anderson Silva. 1st fight Silva clearly had control, but got cocky and started showboating. 2nd fight he had a freak shin break.

Weidman planned that shin break. John Danaher said it, and so did Weidman. Apparently he was hurting everyone's legs with that check in training.
 
Silva vs. Weidman 1 was pretty embarrassing.

Also, Maia being the first man to finish Condit in a decade, and doing it within like one minutes time, was pretty embarrassing.

*edit* carlos was only ranked 4th at the time, but many people considered him the champ after that fight with Lawler.
 
Serra landed a lucky shot, he didn't outclass and make GSP look like he shouldn't be in the same Org. On the other hand, Forrest looked like some kid trying to fight his dad. Forrest looked like he should have sued the Athletic Commission for letting him take the fight. Forrest looked like the guys who pick fights with Saitama in One Punch Man.
