Would you be disappointed with your son if he became a plumber?

No. Money is pretty good, chance of being replaced by a machine is fairly low. Seems like a decent profession.

This, it's a pretty strain free construction job too. Only issue I have is that it's getting easier and easier to do. Fitting heating systems is pretty in depth though.

As long as his ass crack isn't hanging out, I wouldn't worry.

Dumb ass girls in groups giggle at everything.

i'd be more disappointed if my daughters turned out to be cunts{<diva}

here in the UK, plumbers are minted, more than a few I know, have transferred to gas central heating engineers, easily making twice, maybe 3 times an average weekly UK wage

I'd imagine the plumber is having the last laugh. They don't make peanuts.

No i wouldn't. I actually looked to bring one when I younger

Ive Ive to the conclusion that in life, we all gravitate towards jobs, interests, routine, etc based on how we match in sync. Just becuase someone's family comes from an esteemed background in education or business doesn't mean that the future generations will be struck in that "caste". We all go to what we aligned with best based on genetics, upbringing, and personality.

There's nothing wrong with being a plumber or a blue collar worker. I don't have any stigma associated towards it, but the wear and tear on the body is a real thing. As long as they are prepared to know that, it's good.

Also, if anyone has a good head on their shoulders, it's normal for them to transition from trades to being business owner down the line, and making serious bank at that. Plumbing, construction, etc is always going to be in demand, it's not like it's going to disappear overnight. Been that way for a long time.

Plumbing is a respectable trade where he can make money if he sticks at it and learns the business aspect of things.

I'd rather have a plumber son than a bachelor degree carrying man child who can't get a job. But that's just me.

Not at all. I would only be disappointed if he turned out to be a porn actor or something. Or a heroin addict who couldn't keep a job.
What if he was a heroin addict who could keep a job???

I was in a sutuation where a plumber was working on something and a couple of girls made some pretty disparaging comments. Kinda felt bad for him.

He was trying to clear a sink in a bathroom in a casino and some girls were there and basically told him his job sucks.

He was probably just a maintenance guy and not a plumber.

A real plumber most likely makes more than those girls combined.

Those are entitled spoiled brats making disparaging remarks, never mind them.

Even if he was a maintenance guy and not an actual plumber they are still entitled spoiled brats.

Plumbers in my area make 200-500k a year.

Why would I be disappointed?

If he's happy and can make enough money to support himself (and his family he has one) then of course not. Most trades, including plumbers can make at the very least a decent living, but many make pretty damn good money. My dad is a carpenter, but ended up a contractor. Even though he's pretty much retired now he still makes really good money.

I would feel a lot more shame if I had a daughter that grew up and became a stuck up bitch like those cunts.

My father made a very very good living when he left his old plumbing/heating company and went out on his own.

No shame in that still better than sucking dicks for money...

Fuck no, if I had a son I certainly wouldn't be disappointed if he earned money. Unless he was some tranny-hooker. Then I would disown him.

Nope.. good on him.. plumbers make good money and it's honest work..

I'd smite him with a katana for dishonoring the family name

No. They can make decent money and a job is a job. Prob makes more than those dumb cunts did in that bathroom.
